I am specializing in simultaneous interpretation of oral proceedings in patent litigations.

German - Japanese: Patent infringement proceedings at German civil courts, patent revocation proceedings at Federal Patent Court of Germany and UPC.

English - Japanese: EPO opposition and appeal proceedings and UPC proceedings.

Interpretation in court room with whispering equipment or online via Zoom or WebEx (EPO, UPC and possibly FPC). When online, even the client from Japan can attend and listen to my interpretation.

I do not only translate but also give surrounding legal and technical information by short comments in a timely manner to the Japanese client while interpreting the oral hearing.

As accredited sworn interpreter I am entitled to interpret Japanese testimony in German courts.
